• Recruitment sanction for the year 2023 has been accorded by the Engineer-in- Chief. The distribution details of Recruitment Sanction for the year 2023 are enclosed as Appx ‘C’.
• The Recruitment Sanction for the year 2023 is forwarded for initiating further action at your end. Recruitment Sanction is based on the wastage vacancies report received from CES Comd. It is therefore, requested to initiate the process for rect cycle 2023 after receipt of valid NAC. https://mes.gov.in/
• CEs Command are requested to further sub-allocate the vacancies into reservation cat by applying 200 point and 100 point reservation roster and further sub- distribute the vacancies to their lower formations taking into consideration their deficiencies and critical requirements. The distribution of vertical and horizontal reservation against vacancies should be carefully carried out as per latest Govt orders.
• SOP on procedure to be adopted for Direct recruitment for Gp ‘B’ (NG), Gp ‘C’ including erstwhile Gp ‘D’ categories shall be strictly as per SOP issued by this HQ vide letter No. 85605/Gp ‘C’ & ‘D’ SOP/CSCC dt 30 May 1997 read in conjunction with letter No. B/20087/LRS/09-10/E1C(1) dt 22 Jun 2011 including all latest Govt orders, RR and amendments issued from time to time on the subject.
• Chain vacancies of promotions, in chain of hierarchy have been accounted for with the presumption that all the promotional vacancies shall be utilized before direct mode of recruitment, as per respective RRS. In cases, where DR is the last option as per RR, on failure to fill up by specified mode, DR shall be resorted to and ensured that 100% vacancies are utilized within the time frame.
